Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

support for the journey

Family ministries focuses on building relationships, celebrating each other, and welcoming ALL. It is a loving cross-generational community growing in faith, wisdom, friendship, and love. It is a busy ministry full of outreach activities, crafts, collaborations, and events. From the littlest babe to the most seasoned faithful, all have something to contribute and learn!

Our Mission is easily understood with the acronym STPLC (short for Saint Peter Lutheran Church).

faith formation

At Saint Peter, families are welcome to worship together. We also offer Confirmation classes, Sunday School, and Summer Camp.

Faith Formation (Sunday School) curriculum is based on the ELCA lectionary, which means the kids learn the same Gospel story as their grown-up! Faith Formation lasts approximately 25 minutes. Kids learn the Gospel lesson through age-appropriate activities: discussion, craft, song, skit, drawing, writing, etc. These little Bible scholars will take home an activity to do with their grownups to spark conversation, spiritual connections and faith-building at home.
